Preseason is good for individual performances. Name three players you want to see really have a great showing on Thursday night.

For me -

Ian Thomas

CMC

DJ Moore

I really don't think CMC will play more than a series. So can't really expect much from him this game

Anyone from last years rookie class not named Christian.

Elder, Hall, Armah and Samuel need to take a step forward.  This years class looks very promising so if we can get  a couple of these guys in the mix it will go a long way towards stocking the cupboard as the team starts to get older.

Not necesarily asking for superstar play.  Just show  promise in being able to contribute in the rotation for now.

I literally just want to get through the preseason healthy. Eventual SB Champs have gone 4-0 and 0-4 through the preseason. It literally means nothing...except getting through it healthy. Having said that, I still would like to see guys start to show they can play though. Who they are is irrelevant to me.

All I’m concerned about.

It wouldn’t bother me none if Cam, Luke, Olsen, KK, Poe, etc saw minimal playing time this preseason. I just want to start the season as healthy as possible.

Is it really balling out if it's preseason? These games are for fringe players, and as such, I'd like to see a fringe guy standout. Byrd will need to show that his play last season and during camp will translate over after his injury. If he is successful, he should be better in the Ted Ginn role than Smith will be and that would be a boon for this offense.

3. Secondary. Show me this isn't going to be a long season of our DB's getting worked if we can't generate a consistent pass rush.

The Panthers are facing AJ McCarron, Josh Allen and Nate Peterman. If the DBs look good against those three, I wouldn't put much stock in it. Now, if they look bad against those three, yeah, its could be a long season.
