I realize these aren't individuals, but I want to see these units perform well rather than some isolated individual performances.

we really need our offensive linemen to step up. Amini isn’t starting material. If we can’t find someone to step up and beat him out of the starting gig then we are screwed.

 

I think the best person to beat out Amini is one of our UDFA guards Mahon or Bosch. We also have signed Sirles who could also start for us but I believe Mahon can end up being the better player.

 

one other guard I think is worth looking at is former 4th round pick Dorian Johnson. He may end up being nothing but he was drafted in the 4th round for a reason and was considered on of the top guards in the draft at the time.

I literally just want to get through the preseason healthy. Eventual SB Champs have gone 4-0 and 0-4 through the preseason. It literally means nothing...except getting through it healthy. Having said that, I still would like to see guys start to show they can play though. Who they are is irrelevant to me.
