Does @RoaringRiot know this dude is tarnishing his good name? Where did you find this guy??

ahah, im sure he could be good at it..... if he just looks up how to be better at it. like rule #1 don't wear sun glasses while on camera for "media" purposes. Viewers dont connect with you and immediately move on. Also, youur mouth becomes the only focal point, and no one wants to stare at a mouth....

He's probably an intern or something. I'm sure he'll pick it up. But right now he looks like a frat bro winging it after a night of drinking nati ice.

nice. Next up, work on getting better in front of camera.

Well, being a good writer/analyst and being a good on air personality are different skill sets.

Me? I prefer a guy who knows his stuff even if he's not that polished to a guy who sounds slick and professional but doesn't know what he's talking about.

Lol @Dex @TheCasillas - the "rapid reactions" aren't meant to be taken so seriously. Just a quick recap off the top of his head. The articles and videos he does later are more polished. These are just for fun. The last two have Voth and Will Bryan f-ing with him. They're funny (IMO)

And Dex - he's been on the beat for two years now. But I'm sure you're over there pleasuring yourself to David Newton and never noticed.

Somehow Joe Person is still around with neither skill set.

There is a difference in being an on air personality and being able to articulate fluidly information around what you are reporting. I am not expecting him to be some Walter Cronkite. Maybe he should just watch some videos of Bill Voth from his heyday to lead im in the right direction.

    • If there's another QB that came to the combine after packing on 15 lbs of water weight to hide his playing weight, I don't remember it.  I understand it's all part of the pre-draft game, and he participated. The FO was stupid and ignored huge red flags.  On a side note though, I was at the airport a few weeks ago and saw a basketball team going through and decided to try and look through them. I'm 6'2 and these guys were 6'6 and up. I was amazed by how much I couldn't see around them. And these guys weren't 300 plus in pads. I still think he's having a hell of a time seeing the field at the NFL speed.
    • There is merit to the points you're making here. On the flip side one could argue it took us investing 150 million in the oline for him to have a breakout season. And he has still yet to hit 1k rushing yards in a season. As far as Brooks goes the position does not require that significant of a draft investment for many other teams. That's not being negative it's just a matter of fact. The 49ers did quite well with a UDFA running back while McCaffrey was out. It is understandable that some people have concerns. That being said it boils down to whether or not you believe in the player. We just have to see what happens with him and Brooks.
    • Okay, that day in Vegas had to embarrass him completely. Andy showed him how to do the job.  What I think when I go there, why did it take Andy? He has had game after game of watching actual NFL QBs work and that didn't do it?  Anyhow Andy did not mess around, he stood in there and did his job and got rid of the ball ahead of the pressure. Down the field. With the same players Bryce had. Night and day.  If that didn't wake him up nothing ever would. But I don't think he has any sort of top NFL QB in him, he just lacks the full tool kit.
