If an expert tool-mans (Brady) dismisses your old tools (Lafell), then maybe you need new tools.

I read this a few times and still struggling to make sense of it.

The fact is every WR you guys had has been jumping from team to team.

You lost me here too. Some WRs didn't stay at CAR. So how is that different from every team in the league? And what does it prove?

CAR WR do not understand routes.

The individuals or the OC or the scheme? Who is to blame? When you say they don't understand do you mean they don't know what they are or they can't run good routes?

Cam's tools suck. Belichick will tell you that. Lafell peaked with Brady, then regressed to have on of his worst receiving seasons ever in NE. Only to get cut in CIN.

I can't really tell if you're criticising Lafell or complimenting Brady here.

Yeah, something happened we don't know about. Probably never will.

I notice KB hasn't been invited to anything of Cam's over the offseason. No kickball. No workouts. Found that odd.

That was pretty clear from the beginning. Anyone Cam doesn’t get along with and would be deemed a distraction has been gone.

check the history bro. Igo has KB and DW on the tip of his.____ today. Why is my question. We are far removed form both players. Neither are relevent. Yet the MFCEO feels a need to start thread about them.

KB is talking poo about the Panthers and Cam Newton, this making him relevant as a topic of discussion. That’s how discussions work.

The guy isn't good. If he went to NE or PITT, Brady and ben would stop targeting him after his first play.

Which is the opposite of the point you were making about Lafell:

I don't disagree that CN has never had a stellar cast of receivers. The best was Steve Smith who was at the tail end of his career. But hes never had a cast of guys like many of the QB's hes measured against has. He's also been dealing with an at best average OL for several years. It makes it hard to compare him to other QBs because there are lots of variables at play. For these reasons I would say CN deserves the benefit of the doubt that he could do better rather than the tired old-hes just a one-dimensional running QB take that so many people trot out. If you believe in at least some ways we have upgraded-(I think this is true of the WRs and OC) then he has every chance to be better. Hes also fit coming into this season. He's never going to be high percentage, but I believe with help he can be better.

I am by no means dismissing Cam btw, I think some fault lies with him on a few of those wtf passes he misses on wide open guys. I do believe his weapons have been sub-par. I don't think Cam may be the most accurate passer ever, but KB is far from a good WR in this league.

Now if Cam had AB, and Brown said this, and the numbers displayed a disparity in production? I cant disagree with that. However, stats are not in Ginn or KB's favor. Cam isn't a professional dart thrower, but KB aint even a NFL level WR imo. Just my opinion.

Btw, I don't know what these emoji means. I assume beer means "I will toast to that."

waiting for you to point out your issue. All the others have failed. What is your problem with me calling out Igo for fermenting hate against former players that are no longer with us? You seem legit. Can you justify our fearless leader doing such for any other reason that to drive content?

I don't think he is fermenting hate; rather, he is offerring his opinion on a topic that is making national headlines.  I too would rather talk about on the field topics, but this is very relevant for the Panthers, so I have no issue with Igo creating a thread about it

Some homers, also some people pointing out that he isn't doing himself or his current team any favours. I couldn't read past the first few posts of saints4life thread on the falcons forum. Just a bunch of rednecks gloating about others preconceived shortcomings. Life is too short to waste reading that poison.

This one was my favorite:

They win by defense. Newton is a small part of that team.

Here's the thing, the first couple of time Fatty McFatFace dropped an end-zone pass or critical first downs, an asshole like Tom Brady that doesn't put up with that poo would make his life miserable and lock him out.

KB truly does live in a fantasy world.

    • If there's another QB that came to the combine after packing on 15 lbs of water weight to hide his playing weight, I don't remember it.  I understand it's all part of the pre-draft game, and he participated. The FO was stupid and ignored huge red flags.  On a side note though, I was at the airport a few weeks ago and saw a basketball team going through and decided to try and look through them. I'm 6'2 and these guys were 6'6 and up. I was amazed by how much I couldn't see around them. And these guys weren't 300 plus in pads. I still think he's having a hell of a time seeing the field at the NFL speed.
    • There is merit to the points you're making here. On the flip side one could argue it took us investing 150 million in the oline for him to have a breakout season. And he has still yet to hit 1k rushing yards in a season. As far as Brooks goes the position does not require that significant of a draft investment for many other teams. That's not being negative it's just a matter of fact. The 49ers did quite well with a UDFA running back while McCaffrey was out. It is understandable that some people have concerns. That being said it boils down to whether or not you believe in the player. We just have to see what happens with him and Brooks.
    • Okay, that day in Vegas had to embarrass him completely. Andy showed him how to do the job.  What I think when I go there, why did it take Andy? He has had game after game of watching actual NFL QBs work and that didn't do it?  Anyhow Andy did not mess around, he stood in there and did his job and got rid of the ball ahead of the pressure. Down the field. With the same players Bryce had. Night and day.  If that didn't wake him up nothing ever would. But I don't think he has any sort of top NFL QB in him, he just lacks the full tool kit.
