Kelvin Benjamin - I have thoughts

Recommended Posts

1. It is sad to see friendships go sour, first and foremost. Cam and Kelvin were inseparable here for quite a while. They clearly enjoyed each others company a great deal and a friendship developed. By all accounts that is over, and that is the saddest part. It is only a game, after all.

2. Kelvin has never been particularly mature. Kelvin has never held himself accountability. Kelvin has gone through a lot. The comments made by him are ones we could expect from a college freshman, because basically that is what Kelvin is upstairs. He was never the brightest bulb of the bunch.

3. Cam Newton on the other hand has shown he has grown a great deal since being drafted. He could not have handled this any better. I don't think rookie Cam Newton would have taken the high road. Our guy has grown up before our eyes.

Yo...we know you like to get hits and generate discussion...but WHY  must you pimp KB so much? Hes done. Hes gone. Not relevant to our team anymore. For real...dont you have fortnight to play?~~~

That sounds pretty weird,,   didn't see anything in the OP to "pimp"  KB  ..   You sure you're a coralreefer ?  float on

Cam and KB probably had a falling out.

Yeah, something happened we don't know about. Probably never will.

I notice KB hasn't been invited to anything of Cam's over the offseason. No kickball. No workouts. Found that odd.

check the history bro. Igo has KB and DW on the tip of his.____ today. Why is my question. We are far removed form both players. Neither are relevent. Yet the MFCEO feels a need to start thread about them.

huh? why you talking about him? Hes not important but you pimp his name. Why? IN our training camp...why are you stirring up discussion about a has been player that is gone?

KB stirred up the discussion by trashing Cam in the media. Otherwise none of us would be talking about him.

KB is not as member of this team...and i dont see the logic of giving his name this much attention on  OUR forum. He said some poo but we and carolina huddle look like some bitter ass becky's by making thread about it. KB is not thread-worthy/

    • Team is dangerous right now, all four lines are contributing and the speed at which the guys play at is tremendous.
    • And every nfl player wannabe tries to up their draft position through things like the combine and theyre all basically lying though those drills theyve practiced hundreds of times that have little bearing on if theyre a good football player. The pro days are even worse. All you have to do is dupe 1 team. Is it right? No. But until teams put more emphasis on college tape vs. What they did in shorts with no defense it'll happen every year. I doubt there is a single player that wouldn't try anything to up their draft prospects.  Young had years of tape and that shouldve been what the decision was based on. Not a scale and throwing in shorts.  ( btw I think the combine and pro days are 90% a waste of time) Young has it financially made already. It's up to him if he wants to be a good football player too. I think the benching was the best thing that could've happened to him. It remains to be seen if it was enough
    • This.  Honest introspection on his behalf would have seen that size and strength were his biggest weaknesses. He looks no different. With the programs in the NFL, he could have come back to camp 10 lbs of muscle heavier. Easily. If had done so, it would have been reported on. It would have been the hottest story…. But we never saw anything of the sort, so it probably never happened.  He showed improvement this last game, likely from Andy’s tutelage. He has to show something VERY special to close the season out to change my thinking on him… like 4 game winning streak with a clutch 4th quarter comeback. Then maybe.
