I thought thought we would keep 4 RB & 9 OL but I can see keep 10 & I have heard nothing of CAP but whats up with LB Carter I keep hearing how folks are impressed by him ? also Ladarius Gunter I have heard his name talked about at all I forgot he was here , I would think Lorenzo Doss or even Jones

What about CB Doss? He's been making some noise and I don't think he can be hidden on the PS.

Could be, but from what I have seen Doss is hot an cold. His interceptions and such are written about and exciting to talk about, but he is picked on quite a bit also. I think Rivera goes for consistency over the occasional stellar play.

I think they need 10 O-line because of Ryan K and Tra with injuries. Williams comes back 4 or so weeks in so maybe they go with 9 for now and he comes back at 10. I think 3 RB's because Armad can be a short yardage back too. Good job Jeremy.

Pretty solid.  I do think we keep Colin Jones for depth, but I can't figure out at whose expense.  Don't know if Southward has PS eligibility, or if he would clear waivers.

Also I assume Carter or Norris makes the roster in TDs place 1st 4 games...

Offense I think you've got 100%

From what I've read i agree with most of these projections, except I think Doss at CB and Jermaine Carter at LB are serious contenders.

Also, wanted to say from everything I've read, as much as I disliked the Gaulden pick, he seems to be holding his own in camp, which is encouraging.  Many of us compared him to Godfrey, but i don't think so...  Godfrey looked in over his head early on, and I havent heard anything of the sort about Gaulden.

Andre Smith over Carter.....a few comments in camp got me feeling like we may have gotten lucky here.  I think Smith was injured last year, leading to him dropping to the 7th, where I love to take a flyer on this kind of guy.  If the coaches think he's outplayed our 5th rounder Carter, then we may be on to something.

and we deserve it.

    • Yes. Arm strength is a problem too, but his biggest problems are decision making and accuracy.
    • His work ethic may be a question mark, but I question his ethics in general. The way that he weighed in at the combine and the left immediately while everyone else was throwing. He knew he was conning someone
    • When did I say top 3 picks? Talking about starters who were unsuccessful or sent packing from one team to find more success on another--- Goff? Carr? Geno Smith?  Darnold? Baker?  --heck, if you take those QBs alone (5) you are talking about over 15% of the league.  But you are looking at performance and I am looking at skill set and fit.  What you did not mention is the bust rate for the rookie qbs who are drafted.  Why is that?  Fit and, in my view, opportunity to develop. I know that it is easy to say, "I saw this on TV"  or "but he has only been good for a short amount of time"  well, this process is not a lifetime achievement award.  Darnold was here for a half season--did he ever show the success he did here as he has in Minnesota?  Nope.  So what is the difference?  FIT.  My point?  If Jones is a top 7 QB over the past 3 years when throwing from a clean pocket and here, we will have a top running back room (Hubbard and Brooks), a good young WR room, a good young developing TE, and a veteran, top 5 offensive line--those are the conditions that would make him throw from clean pockets.  That is all I am saying--did I give him a gold jacket?  I said it was risky.  So is drafting a QB.  I also mentioned other ways our team could improve. But you decide to put words in my mouth and then argue against those words.  Brilliant.
