What the heck inspired this off the hinges, out of nowhere rant from KB? Like why is he crying about all this stuff now?

My guess is that KB somehow felt betrayed by Cam.  Perhaps it had to do with the trade.  I don't know if he expected Cam to fight harder to keep him, or if he thought he should have made more of a stink about it, who knows.  Maybe he's mad that Cam didn't reach out to him this off-season, or didn't invite him to his high profile workout sessions.

Whatever the reason, this definitely sounds personal and has the feel of something off the field more than what he's actually talking about.

fug him.  I didnt ever want his fat ass here to begin with...  how you gonna blame Cam bc you're too fat to get open?  Lol.  STFU.  I posted numerous times during his tenure here (when he wasn't injured or morbidly obese) of instances of him quitting on routes, running the wrong routes, being called for unnecessary penalties that cancelled out big plays...  and he wants to speak on another player, let alone a former MVP's knowledge of the game??  Again, STFU.  And a huge reason Cam's accuracy has been less than ideal was because we traded away a HOF receiver and tried to replace him with KB's fat, slow ass who couldn't get open...  we then surrounded him with several other slow ass receivers who couldn't get open...  and anyway, any issue he is bringing up now, he would've had to question before we drafted him, and rumor was at the time that KB bombed his 40 to purposely drop to us bc he wanted us to draft him...  iirc, KB said that himself.  And facts are, Cam won MVP and the team had their best year in KB's tenure here when he was injured for the year.  He is a walking net negative, except when he steps on a scale.  So, again, fug him and his Michelin man looking ass.  This is some bitch made stuff right here...  he's gonna feel real dumb when Cam wins another MVP this year and a Superbowl.

Smitty weighed in on NFLN. He called Kelvin or for showing up overweight and blaming others for his failure. Said he doesn't care to watch someone like him on a football field.

Which is why we as fans should've never been insulted with GMan releasing Smitty and then trying to convince us he could be replaced with KB's doughboy looking ass and Cotchery.  Smitty knows...  many fans here knew.  I remember being laughed at for expressing here that KB's rookie year was unimpressive and his stats were empty, and that he wasn't a #1 WR...  welp...  here we are.

I mean, Cam doesn’t and didn’t have great touch. kB doesn’t have elite speed or route running. What he is saying is accurate; they weren’t a great match and he would have been better with someone who can drop in those red zone fades and corners. The whole reason he was brought in was because cam wasn’t super accurate and the staff thought he needed huge targets.

Nah OBJ, Watkins, Mike Evans and Cooks were gone. You can bet they would have been drafted. Cam did fine with Smith who was 5'9, who was 32/33 years old putting up 1,000 yards so if that's the reason it just yet another reason why Gettleman firing was justified. You don't draft WR's cause they're tall and should win most battles in the air. There's more to that being a NFL wide receiver

Gettlemen was fired for personal reasons. He was the most successful Panthers GM, by record.
