Skinner traded to Buffalo

Free agent after the season.  He could barely make it off of the 3rd line last year because the guy just can't be found on the defensive end.  As much as I've enjoyed watching his scoring touch, this makes the locker room and the team better and more balanced.

Could have probably gotten more for him if JR hadn't given him that ridiculous full NMC.

Internal rumors indicated that Skinner was just going through the motions and by all accounts it seems Brindy is going to make every player work hard at both ends of the ice. Skinner didn't seem to fit with that mentality.

It's interesting to note that DW said that they plan to keep Faulk.

A projected lineup based on the posted roster could like something like:

Zykov/Aho/Teravainen

McGinn/ Staal/ Williams

Ferland/ Necas/ Svechnikov

Martinook/ Rask/ Maenalanen

I'm all for moving Faulk at the right price, but Faulk playing against teams 3rd and 4th lines could be huge.
