Nice! Thanks for that as always.

We need two tight ends to compensate for that terrible o-line.

Our offense was the best its ever been with Shockey and Olsen lined up together.  I love the 2 TE set if you have 2 baller TE's.

And the left side of the OL that season was Travelle Wharton and Jordan Gross.

This season may need 2 TEs and a FB just to keep Cam from getting killed on his blind side.

Definitely concerned about the left side of the O line.

Eager to see the Dline in action in the preseason games since right now they're so limited in contact. But I'm pretty optimistic about KK & Poe, and also it sounds like Hall and Haynes are showing some promise, easing concerns about our depth at DE.

Question: which of the preseason opponents we face will prove the biggest test for our Oline? I'd love some perspective to know what to be looking for.  I honestly don't know much about the current state of any of those 4 D-lines.

Patriots, only because they are game 3, which means starters for 3 quarters.

Amini has photos of Rivera--I dont see how you get better by getting worse at any position.

Bradberry seems to be better--the new scheme and less blitzing will help.  Jackson is playing like a guy who expects a starting role.

Jackson / Bradberry / Seymour /  Elder / Doss / Munnerlyn  / Gunter--I like group.

QUESTION:  HAS HALL DONE ANYTHING AT ALL?

I saw a report the other day that Hall was having a good camp so far.

I have to agree with an earlier poster, the Patriots would prove to be the biggest test for the preseason since it's the dress rehearsal game and we beat them in the regular season last year so they might be a little bitter and bring the extra motivation.

I wonder who sets the depth chart for the Offensive line? Rivera, Norv, or Matsko?

I feel bad for Matt Kalil. He's going to look even worse because he is not going to get any help at all from Amini.

Before you go feeling too badly for him, just remember that he's eating up $20.6M of our cap space this season. Hell, he's pretty much THE reason why retaining Norwell was pretty much out of the question.
