Hypothetical Dez Bryant?

I’d be pissed if we signed Dez...but couldn’t we cut Torrey Smith and instantly free up another $5mill? Now clue what Dez is currently being offered but $6mill might get it done.

Again, I’m not advocating for a washed up Dez Bryant by any means...nor do I think we’d be interested at all

Cutting Smith for Dez would be beyond moronic. Torrey Smith is the only proven deep threat we have on the team and that's something we were sorely lacking last year when Ginn wasn't here, and a huge reason why we kept seeing stacked boxes all the time. Because we had no one that could take the top off a defense or at least be a real threat to do so.

Dez is another slow possession WR , hes like KB but older and not as big at this point.

WR is no longer a weak position on this team. They'll keep 6 on the roster and if someone gets injured, I don't see 'em looking out in free agency land for a replacement. 3 years ago we lost KB, and with a much weaker WR crew than now,  won 15 games. If you're gonna put up a wish list, make it one for a position where we're weak and/or thin.
