LOL bruh I just had co workers come out of their offices cuz I was laughing so hard. Thanks for that man.

No problem. Enjoy yourself, dude.

Honeymoons can be magical, and not just for the "bang till we can't move anymore" part :)

I did not know this. If true maybe we will finally spend big money in FA and bring some stars to Carolina?

Still gotta be under the cap, though.

Also worth remembering that Tepper is expected to run the team in a manner similar to the Steelers.

I kind of want it to be that secondary logo we saw on the press board at camp.  The two states, one team thing.  That might look good at midfield.

I think that might be better as a future thing.

Fans have been waiting years to see the regular Panther logo. Let em have that first.

This never had anything to do with free agent acquisitions. The NFL has a hard salary cap - you can't just buy all your talent. We've had cap issues many years as is. Success in the NFL is about balancing large vet contracts with quality youth talent on cheap rookie deals.

It kinda does. Even under the salary cap, some teams do spend lots of money on big names. That wasn't us.

Of course, under Tepper, that's probably still not going to be us. It's definitely not the Steeler way.

I get that but that wasn't my point. Teams that have lots of cap space because they havent spent it on homegrown talent are the big FA spenders. That usually hasnt been us. We very rarely have gone into any off-season with lots of cap space that we need to spend to get within the cap floor. Its not that we have been particularly adverse to FA acquisitions its just been that we havent been in a position to bring in any big bames because of spending money else where. The post I was replying to was implying that we were cheap, which isn't the case. We had just spent money in other ways.

Last I heard the Carolina Panthers reside in Charlotte.. lol joking aside I prefer just to have the standard logo we’re used to at midfield at this point. Switching it up to the two state logo for primetime games, special occasions etc is something I wouldn’t  be opposed to though

When they build the new dome it will probably be in SC so might as well have a transition logo.
