I’m telling you all 7-9 it is this season.  This team is not nearly as talented as some seem to think.

We got it, man. You keep saying the same thing over and over. Starting to sound like the retired college coach

I'll be honest, I not sure where OL guys fall into $$$ of positions but besides someone wanted to trade FunFun for one (?)...there's got to some talented back ups we just buy, I mean the Oher wasn't a expensive at $7 M @ 2 years. I do agree that to give Newton some space we need pros in the line...So I'm asking does this position  require scouting and they need to learn our system or can just get a back up from the a** hole cowboys?

or just trade a line backer...it seems to me that we need Newton to healthy to have a great season and I don't why we have this issue...so is a talented linebacker the same as guard or tackle? can we trade Igo?

Was this English?

So you good with our OL?

If you asked me to rank our oline from guys I’d least like to lose to injury, Daryl Williams would have been fourth, ahead of Amini.

Our line was garbage last year without Kalil.  We absolutely can not run the ball without a healthy Turner and Matt Kalil is literally all we have at LT.  I hate seeing any injury but we at least have somewhat depth with Moton.

Heard this for over 15 years

Your right, we should pack it in. It’s not like we have a transcendent QB or a future hall of fame middle linebacker in their prime to mask the loss of a RT or a fourth string cb.

can we talk draft on this forum now?

Glad we need only 2 players to win it all.  Maybe Cam can throw bombs and catch it himself.

Got me again. We definitely did nothing to upgrade the talent we have around him this year. I’m also guessing getting a healthy Olsen back means nothing for this offense.

In all seriousness, I understand the frustration with no back to back winning seasons. What I don’t understand is the mindset that it is unattainable because we no longer have the services of Daryl Williams or Ross Cockrell.

Not sure how long you been a fan but the Panthers always getting hit by an injury bug the year after winning season...  hence the reason for no back to back winning seasons in almost 25 years or so.  Quarter of century with no back to back winning season.  Almost since USSR collapsed.  Let that sink in.  Most people who followed the Panthers for many years seen this story played out over and over again.

The injury bug is too easy of an excuse for this franchises inability to have back to back winning seasons.

Sure it sucked when Steve Smith broke his leg against Green Bay on that Monday night in 04, or when Kris Jenkins went down.  Watching Jamal Robertson carry the ball in the nfccg in Seattle sucked as well.

This teams inability to win back to back has more to do with the lack of leadership that has been running this franchise up to now and the questionable draft decisions of his yes man in Hurney, than it does with injuries

Every team has injuries every year. Hell, the eagles won it all amidst losing the mvp front runner in Carson Wentz.
