Back to back winning seasons

It seems every time we put a decent team together after a winning season, injury bug strikes us...  I been hopping for back to back winning seasons for almost 20 years. Richardson is gone but his damn Wafford college field is still haunting us.  We need to get that curse off.

Im still just trying be positive about all this. Moton seems to be having a good camp and hopefully turns out to be an adequate replacement and perhaps a pro bowl tackle. Cockrell, while being a key rotation piece, isn't irreplaceable. Guys like Jackson and Seymour should be able to step up and fill the position and I feel like they are better than what we had last year in Worley.

Hopefully the football gods are satisfied and dont require anymore sacrifices.

Losing DW hurt but getting this bent out of shape 2 weeks before the first preseason game comes off as weak.  Hope the players dont share the same attitude.

I'll be honest, I not sure where OL guys fall into $$$ of positions but besides someone wanted to trade FunFun for one (?)...there's got to some talented back ups we just buy, I mean the Oher wasn't a expensive at $7 M @ 2 years. I do agree that to give Newton some space we need pros in the line...So I'm asking does this position  require scouting and they need to learn our system or can just get a back up from the a** hole cowboys?

or just trade a line backer...it seems to me that we need Newton to healthy to have a great season and I don't why we have this issue...so is a talented linebacker the same as guard or tackle? can we trade Igo?

    • For the silly people that worship her it will be that.  The Coleman 'legend' thing, they did that with another fairly average player that was here and I sort of mocked or questioned the 'legend' status. Instantly caught crap for insulting someone's favorite Panther. So okay, Kurt Coleman is a Legend.
    • You allow him to compete--you all are talking as if I am proposing making him the starter. Give him a new coach, new weapons, good OL, etc. and see what happens. You are saying, "Well Damn.  It did not work for 3 guys..."  Right now, our C is injured, we lost our top 2 WRs.  Better question:  If you need a QB, Why would you not take a chance on bringing in a QB who was a former first rounder, a good arm, intelligence, mobility, youth, etc.  and see how he does out of NY--with a better OL, better running game, better receivers.  I am not saying give him a 10-year contract, I am saying give him a chance. You act like there is no improvement on offense here--it was a 2 year process, and next year is year 2.  To me, how can you sit there with Bryce and an opportunity to sign a veteran QB on the cheap comes available and you say--"Not us. We're good.  We are waiting for Patrick Mahommes."  Jone's problem is obviously mental--and he has little support.  Why is this so frigging hard to comprehend.  It is called "bottom fishing" and it is better than sitting in the boat.
    • I think we're going to fall from behind quite early and be forced to abandon the run game.  3 rushes -2 yards 1 catch -10 yards
