While I think losing your pro bowl RT (after letting your pro bowl LG walk) is certainly the worse scenario, I agree that Cockrell was going to see a lot of rotations while we were in zone coverage. This injury is definitely a big deal.

Panthers coach Ron Rivera wouldn't comment on the severity of corner Ross Cockrell's left leg injury at the end of practice. But his tone indicated it wasn't good and Cockrell left with a cast/brace on the lower leg. Could be a break. Cornerback Donte Jackson said it was tough hearing a teammate scream.
