The OL: Quick PSA

People...before last season even started DW was getting ripped on around these parts.  Even during 2017. 

At the end of the day, both Williams and Moton are pure RTs at the NFL level.  Both can play guard fine (and maybe even excel) but that RT spot is their goldilocks zone.  

LG is the problem, but out of every position to have an issue with, OG is one we should be okay with filling.  IT JUST CANNOT BE AMINI

I am not concerned about right tackle. Moton will do just fine there.

What I am concerned about is Amini now looks to be a sure thing day 1 starter at LG because there simply isn't anyone better.

I should rephrase. There isn't anyone with a better chance at being the starting LG. Rivera loves him some Amini. It will take something special for that to be overcome.

That’s what’s I’m getting at Zigo. I think we have 2 guys that are quality starting RTs that can play guard well, but their sweet spot is on the right outside.  One got injured but we have been needing a long term fix at LG prior.  Amino is not quality and everyone knows it..Sirles or Larsen need to step up which I can see happening. Just saying we’re not Entirely in bad shape. If we had a better LT this would be minimized.

I know RR has the final say, but I was/am hoping NT advises him to try some other guys there.

I do want to hear about Kyle Bosch.  He seemed like the better UDFA than Mahon and led that line to fewest sacks allowed in the Big 12.

He is, it's why he's been cut like 2 times and somehow found his way back here after he was with Chicago and they cut him.

Mahon is going to win out. If Moton can show above average quickness at RT then he could become prime candiate for LT position in 2019, if Panthers decides to let go of both Kalils. William would then be able to slide back to RT after a year of recovery.
