I still wonder about the LeSean McCoy situation and the possibility of an Artis-Payne trade. For that matter, I have never understood the lack of playing time for Artis-Payne. It was clear last season that Jonathan Stewart had hit time's wall. Notwithstanding this, Artis-Payne had a grand total of only 18 carries. FWIW, those carries netted 5.3 ypc.

I think Hood makes the team because he can play FB while Armah can play FB and backup TE . Hood can back up as power HB

Hard to say what happens this early. Who expected Williams to get hurt. Let's see what happens in August before proclaming one better than the other. Johnson and CMC are locks. After that things aren't as clear. Depends on what Turner, Matso and Skipper think more than Rivera.

My sentiments as well. Barner and Byrd might be competing for the same ST spot, not for their respective positional spots.

Sadly, sometimes injuries go ahead and make the decisions for you. I just can't imagine after the cast of wide receivers in the last playoff game, ever being short there again. What a relief to actually have competent depth this year at that position.

I think Elijah hood has a better chance of making the team. Sure Barner can play special teams but we already have lots of players who can play special teams at other positions.
