Also, based off what i've seen and heard from the rookie camps, minicamps, and now TC, Jackson has a lot of room to make up between his talking and his actual playing...  he didn't look like an elite athlete with great instincts here, and this is a fellow rookie (although i think DJ is gonna do that to a lot of vets too).

It'll be all good. I'd say its just more indicative of Moore's skills. We need a WR who can do that !

Im pretty sure Cam was expecting to have to put some air under it...  but, i also think he is still getting acquainted with how much speed Moore has.

Cam is money with his long ball in the regular season. I ain't worried about that. I'm just ecstatic we actually have a WR that can break ankles with his route running. And Moore's a hell of a lot faster than I thought he was.

Jackson clearly slipped anyways more impressive is the recovery speed & breakup.

@Jeremy Igo Steve Smith would have still caught that ball .

The mechanics are terrible, whether you'd like to admit that or not lol.

Also, I can't tell you how many times I've seen this happen to Jackson. He's one of the more aggresive CBs I've ever watched. He bites hard in double moves. Luckily he has ridiculous recovery speed.

True, Moore won most of his battle but in game time everything is not gonna go your way. Plus he is gonna be facing even better CBs lol.

From my perspective, and at this point in his career, this is one of those issues where it kinda just is what it is. Some fans want to gleefully highlight the realistically small number of instances of "bad" mechanics, but have little to say when Newton is putting the offense on his back, which over the years has overwhelmingly been the case more often than not.

These negative conversations about Newton move the needle here this time of year though so you'll see nudging by the huddle brass to move things along. I get it, but at some point it dilutes what you're offering by doing this. Meh.
