The first 2 episodes of The Night Of had me FREAKING OUT. I thought we had another True Detective Season 1 on our hands. But it fizzles a bit. It was still very good but my expectations after that incredible start were not met.

I agree they dragged it out a little but still a solid show.  I though John Turturro was great as usual.  Recommended.

Oh and Bill Camp was great IMO.

****THE NIGHT OF SPOILERS BELOW****

I thought for sure something bad was going to happen when he was in prison. The tension building in the shower scene or the visiting room "coochie" scenes really had my nuts in my stomach. But at the end it was almost as if Naz would be okay with staying. He got institutionalized VERY quickly. I found that a little bizarre. But the show did an excellent job of showing how broken the criminal justice system is and yes John T was stellar as usual. Those feet lmaoooo.

I seriously thought they were going to end up with Naz killing her.  Glad it didn't go there.

Agree...Naz had to do what he had to do to survive.  Scary stuff.

I really enjoyed season 1.  I wish season 2 kept going with Cora, but there wasn't much more to see after the finale.  I'm not big on shows that have completely different characters season after season (AHS), so no plans to watch season 2.

I really liked the first episode of S2, though, if it matters. They carried over the same feeling from S1, and jumped right back in tbqh.

    • I think a lot of wrs are going to go in the second round before we pick.  There are a lot of wr needy teams.  I think there will be a big run on them in the late 30s and 40s.
    • Interesting that they met with Walker three times and Cam Jackson twice.
