Really liked what I saw from the kid last night. Seemed to have a good chemistry with Cam right away. Caught everything that came near him. 

Manhertz being out truly may be a blessing in disguise.

I will temper expectations.  I think he has the ability and skill but I think there will be a learning curve and likely some whiffs but I believe he can be good.

Apparently Jason Vander Laan made a splash last night too. Not only did Ron praise him, which is sometimes easy to dismiss as coach speak, but Cam did too...asking " where did they find this guy?!". LOL
