Y’all keep sleeping on him but he’s miles ahead of Samuel

Well, in all fairness to your argument, Samuel can’t seem to stay healthy enough to prove this wrong as of yet lol. Byrd’s fantastic and I love him though.

Damiere Byrd continues to quietly do his thing.

Some questions at the top but we are extremely deep at WR now... Moore, Samuel and Byrd right now round out our bottom 3 of 6... Crazy.

That wasn’t so much a shot at Samuel as it was a compliment to Byrd.

They often get lumped together because they’re supposed to be similar style WR’s but imo they’re not THAT similar. Byrd’s route running and hands separate him. Samuel healthy or not won’t ever have as good of hands as Byrd.

It’ll be interesting to see how long of a leash Torrey gets

Then again... Rivera is our coach so... he most likely doesn’t have to worry but on an even playing field, it could get interesting

In all fairness Samuel suffered a freak accident. One that was extremely bad and will take some time to heal. Byrd has not really been durable either nor has Funchess.

DJ Moore is Samuels replacement. I think if the Panthers had more faith in Samuel they might have picked differently round one.
