ESPN's Rich Cimini writes the Jets are open to trading Teddy Bridgewater.

Bridgewater reportedly looked good during the offseason program, but the Jets will have little use for him if Sam Darnold wins the starting job in camp. It is not clear how much of a market there is for the former first-rounder, but he could help his value with a strong preseason. Several teams including the division-rival Dolphins could use an upgrade to their backup situation.

Can't think of a better backup QB situation. Price might be too steep though.

If he's available to trade, he's on the bubble to be cut:

Josh McCown / Sam Darnold / One of their former picks

So to me Teddy is the odd man out here, I think he was insurance for the draft at a modest price, I see him hitting the market, can't imagine at this point to many teams willing to trade for Bridgewater.

The Jets have no reason to cut him honestly. They aren't strapped for cap space and Bridgewater is on a 1 year contract. They can hold onto him through training camp in hopes a QB needy team will trade an asset for him.

This one is kinda like shopping, it catches your eye, you pick it up, look at it, see the price, then put it down and keep moving. My wife however, she buys it and says, but the are shoes (QB) and were on sale.  Everything in the store is for sale, there for, everything is on sale.
