I think it's better to think that the handlers are for the franchise more than the players. They want to protect their investments.

 

Also, given a 22-25 year old millions of dollars at once seems like a decent recipe for disaster.

So, David Newton thinks Mario Addison is Vernon Butler? In his article about Butler, he uses a picture of Addison. Even when he is called out on this major error on Twitter, he refuses to change it. The man is a joke.

Newton wrote the story but I wouldn't bet on him being the one that chose the photograph. Some website guy probably does that.
