Class C Assault is described in Section 22.01(a)(2) and (3) of the Texas Penal Code.

(a) A person commits an offense if the person: …

(2) intentionally or knowingly threatens another with imminent bodily injury, including the person’s spouse; or

(3) intentionally or knowingly causes physical contact with another when the person knows or should reasonably believe that the other will regard the contact as offensive or provocative.

I remember when someone lied about Beason and tried to sue him and all this at that strip club, etc.

I hope there is some cameras or witnesses and hopefully he didn't do this.

Panthers statement regarding allegations by a Dallas woman that claimed defensive tackle Vernon Butler on July 14 pushed her down stairs at a nightclub and threw ice in her face: "We just learned of the allegations involving defensive tackle Vernon Butler and we are in the process of gathering more information,'' team spokesperson Steven Drummond said. According to a spokesperson from the Dallas police department the woman was not hurt.
