Please show the data to back up this statement.

In fact... 50 executives just rated Ryan the #5 QB in the NFL and the best tier 2 QB in the league. (Rodgers, Big Ben, Brady and Brees are the 4 tier 1)

"Matt Ryan was a hard one for me," a defensive coordinator said. "I put him as a 1 initially, but I changed him to a 2 because of the playoff stuff. They haven't won the Super Bowl. To me, if you are a 1, you have won a Super Bowl or you are just so talented that your team is playing bad around you and you didn't have a chance to do it."

Game over thanks for playing.

So, because a team offered a first round pick for Cooks, that means another team should do the same for Julio? Cooks Id give a 3rd/4th round too. Just because one team offered a 1st round pick for cooks, don't mean he is worth that. I am not a Julio Homer... like alot are on the forum.

Well, 2 separate teams (Pats and Rams) offered 1st round picks for Cooks in back to back years. If Cooks, who isn't even a top 10 WR and probably isn't a top 20 WR, can return that kind of value, I think Julio would have no problem getting a 1st rounder. I think most teams would be salivating to get Julio for a 1st round draft pick, with the exception of teams drafting in the top 5 or so (who are so bad that Julio couldn't help them enough). Let's think about the receivers that are better than Julio:  Antonio Brown.... maybe DeAndre Hopkins..... maybe OBJ.... and that's it.

Well...here’s my pie in the sky prediction for this year...I’m saying now that Matt Khalil is gonna be a pleasant surprise for us at how well he plays

Hopefully whoever this Matt Khalil guy is replaces Matt Kalil during games this season. Then I agree, I will be pleasantly surprised

He actually has 3 more years left.

Doubt he will. He was at Matt Ryan’s camp over the weekend.

28-3 y'all will be giving a guy with 3 years left on his contract a raise now...

Any of them last three you named, i may give a 2nd for, with incentives from other team. You are valuing the players on their skillset. I value players on their team spirit. Football is a team sport. If you are going to pout, show yourself, cancer in lockeroom I dont care how talented you are. If you are not doing things for the team, you are no value of me. Just my .02 of course.

Julio Jones and the Falcons have agreed on a contract adjustment, ensuring Jones will report to training camp on time.

There will be no holdout. Jones had fallen to the bottom of the ten highest-paid wide receivers after three seasons into his latest deal, and got his desired raise after finishing second in the NFL in receiving yards. Julio has incredibly topped 1,400 yards in four straight years. Behind Antonio Brown, he is squarely in the mix to be this year's No. 2-drafted wideout along with Odell Beckham and DeAndre Hopkins. The entire Falcons offense is primed for positive TD regression.

Hmm I think will take the 50 executives over 1 guy.(and I’m laughing if that one clueless guy has Winston over Ryan) Cowherd said the other day Ryan was a B+ QB.

Thanks for trying. Still waiting for you to show me all the interceptions Ryan throws without Julio.

Not too bad.

“About Julio Jones’ contract adjustment: Falcons converted some of his base salary for 2019 into a bonus for 2018, approximately $2 million, a source told @TheAthleticATL

Extra $2M cap hit this year and they will likely give him a huge extension next year... Falcons brass should've just said tough sh*t, they had all the leverage.

Falcons just gave a 5 year extension to their Left Tackle, Jake Matthews, making him the 3rd highest paid OL for average annual salary in NFL History.  5 year, 80 mil.  50 mil guaranteed.

This sorta made me giggle.

You’re thinking of Taylor Lewan. Jake Matthews got 5 year, 75 mil.

You mother f#ckers crack me up when you say poo like "he bitched a fit over 2 million".....lmao.....you won't even make 2 million in your lifetime yet you think because he gets paid a lot he should just accept a 2 million dollar difference.

We aren't talking about $10,000 here. We are talking about millions......
