Sign him post-Cardinals release. They've got at least three ahead of him on the depth chart, and I hated we ever let him get away.

I don't ever recall every hearing him do anything worthwhile.  He was a 7th round flier.   Gave him a shot.  He's done.  Why bring back a, at best, practice squad player.

Signing Barnidge would be a mistake.  Out of the game for too long, IMO.

Not sure it's an issue. The Panthers have never contacted him about returning even when he needed a job and the Panthers needed TE depth. Doubt it will happen now.

The Packers saw enough in him to snag him after we cut him, and then sign him to a futures contract before he got nicked up and became an afterthought.

OOOOOOOHHHHH   I see.   Since the Packers put him on their practice squad and eventually released him.  That makes him legitimate.

Here's how it went down.  We determined he wasn't an NFL caliber TE so we cut him.  Green Bay signed him to kick the tires and came to the same conclusion we did.  NOT AN NFL Caliber TE.

We don't need a PS TE.  We need one that can step in and start.  I won't be this guy.

Ok, I'm willing to bet that in terms of DEPTH, Panthers have the worst TE group in the league. (Greg is awesome, but this is about who's behind him)

I only had time today to look at NFC South TE DEPTH.  This is ridiculous.
