Chances of him staying were as good as Tina staying as an executive. You all saw how fast that ended

There was a story floated a while back that Tina Becker wanted to fire Thigpen but was advised not to do so until after the sale was completed so as not to risk devaluing the team or some such.

I questioned whether that story was really true or if it was just put out there to enhance her image and make her seem like she was more than just a proxy for Jerry Richardson.

Then the sale closed, and Becker was gone within half an hour of Tepper becoming the official owner. Thigpen actually outlasted her by about 48 hours.

So...here we are.

Just a typical lawyer doing typical lawyer things. It's not like he's an evil mastermind doing what no other lawyer would dare to do.
