How is it you seem to think Tepper will not make a difference when you in reality have no clue what Tepper is even like yet and what he will do. Assumptions will get you no where fast. Tepper just may be a 100% opposite of JR.

How is it you seem to not understand the comment? I never gave any indication or clue or even insinuation that Tepper would not make a difference. My question was WHY so many seem to believe he will with no real evidence to back it up....other than "ohh, he is a successful business man" I like how you say I have no clue what Tepper is like...the same like everyone else here, but use it as a way to say fug my opinion but uphold your own. The fact is YOU do not know Tepper any more than me. You and your opinion are not superior to mine. Damn its like reading rainbow needs to be mainstream again.

How is it YOU believe Tepper will make such a huge difference  when in reality you have no clue what he is like or what he will do?

See what i did there? Thats called a flip of an idiot question asked based on a lack of reading comprehension.

Huddle will find a way to complain even if we win soooooo.

can he fire huddlers to?

Tepper isn't firing any Huddlers. He would just buy it, tear it down and build a bigger Huddle with a penis shaped swimming pool.

He definitely said that ‘coaching won’t change’ for PR fluff. I have a feeling he has everyone on the hot seat in reality.

If we have a .500 season and miss the playoffs (given our unknown o-line situation sadly, it is possible) I feel he’ll be ready to clean house.

Either way, I expect a huge fire lit under everyone to actually try and do good. We have the weapons and we could theoretically have an okay o-line (don’t start Silatolu Ron pls) for Cam to make a run, but it all starts from making the right coaching choices (pls give Cam the freedom he had in 2015) and personnel.

Honestly running him like we did in 2015 is a poor idea. He has been injured several times and been concussed as a result of head shots and efforts to hurt him when he runs the ball. He is approaching 30 and if he can't make the transition from a running quarterback who can throw to a throwing quarterback who can run, he will be out of the league in a few years. Also expect Norv to have a tighter rein on Cam's ability to audibilize until he proves he can make the right choices. He won't be given Carte Blanche as he was with Shula.

Shula was let go when it was clear JR was out and status quo Ron knew if he didn’t, he would be next

lol. Actually I am in business. I have followed Tepper. Let’s just say that Someone does not rise as he did and be worth 11 billion dollars and not know a few things and not be cut throat competitive

He expects to win and work hard at it.

Below is the list of American businessmen who are billionaires. Tepper is number 85 in 2016. I would say that’s an indication of business success

You are wrong. Tepper had nothing to do with it and I promise you Ron doesn't run around scared for his job. He was coach of the year in 2013 and 2015 and even Tepper said that folks in the Pittsburgh FO spoke highly of him.

Gettleman wanted Shula gone and Rivera gave Shula one last chance. When the offense didn't improve either Rivera alone or Rivera at Marty's urging (depending on who you believe) decided Cam wasn't improving so the decision was made. We went 11-5 and Shula was canned. That is unisual to do unless you realize that Cam's contract is up in a couple of years and this is Cam's opportunity to show he can become a passing quarterback which is why Norv and Scott were brought it. Believe what you want but the guy actually on the hot seat is Cam. No one is paying him 30 million a year to keep playing like he is and be concussed or injured out of the league in a few years using him as a battering ram. He has to stop playing hero and take what the defense gives him. He is so athletic he thinks he can do more than he can. A trait that is a double edged sword much of the time.

Something else to consider, though...

You remember that movement by Steelers minority owners to get Mike Tomlin fired?

Guess who was part of it?

Just sayin', if Mike Tomlin's record isn't good enough, how does Ron Rivera's stack up?

That point is exactly why I don't say Rivera is safe no matter what. Obviously Tepper was an insider in Pittsburgh and knew things that haven't gone public. So did he want Tomlin gone simply due to the record or did some  of the locker room issues make some of the owners feel that Tomlin was losing the respect of the players. What are your thoughts on that or other reasons why Tepper might want a coach fired. And yes I know he said he wants to win, win, win but what else would you expect from an owner who just paid a premium for a playoff franchise at this point.
