Just because as a fan base people love Cam, doesn't mean you can ignore the fact that our quarterback has accuracy issues, which he's had since college, but by 8 years in the league, he should have fixed that by now. We know what his issues are and hopefully he can improve, but even with that his total package has been top 5 QB his entire career here. He’s nowhere near a hot seat, nor should he be.

Agree 100%. But Cam is far and away our best possible option at QB for the next 3 years at least.

Newton is a moron. I've sat next to him in the press box during a game and can confirm with 100% certainty.

I could understand some flame throwing national talking head putting Cam on "the hot seat" for ratings, but for a guy that spends his entire career around the Panthers this is just an absurd thought. FRANCHISE QUARTERBACKS DO NOT GROW ON TREES.

There are at least 15+ GMs that would give their first born for Cam Newton.

He has a point. If Cam can’t produce with all the talent surrounding him and an OC that can utilize him then what will the issue be?

Lol i was at every home game during pickles tenure.  Cam gets moved for " accuracy issues" never mind the yards, scrambling, rushing, tds, wins, mvps, carring the likes of lafel, ginn, dixon, cotchery, brown....while playing behind kalil, bell, chandler, amini while NEVER having a 1000 yard back whilst making it to a superbowl and we go back to that?  I wont be able to take that kind of asshattery.

this right here is what’s gonna happen sadly. we’re not going to do well because our o-line will be bad and Norv will turn out to be a fraud and revert to his predictable 1980s playcalling while Cam takes all the blame because he’s not Superman and the Hulk in one body all the time.

We have questions on the o-line. Norv could turn out to be as bad as he was in Minnesota and be predictable + call ISO routes all the time. But Cam will get all the blame despite him being far and away the best player on offense, and it’s sad.

Dear lord you’d think Chargers and Vikings fans can’t warn us enough about Norv’s past tendencies, and you’d think maybe we’d start questioning how good our oline actually would be with Matt Kalil and dead God whatever vet Rivera will likely start at LG. Heck, even Ryan Kalil isn’t a sure thing. He’s been bad lately, though it’s definitely injury related.

Yeah I know what you meant. Most here are the same but of course we do have a few “Cam fans” cough thered cough. Hell if we somehow stumbled into the next Aaron Rodgers in the late draft or UDFA or something I’d be thrilled about that and would be fine to move on from Cam. But I’ve got a better chance to win the powerball than that happening.
