Offseason Thread: Has enough time passed..?

I still follow a few ex-Panthers and still have love for them. However, some of these guys catch a lot of heat from Huddles and I just wanted to run through a few guys to see if we are still mad or do they get a black&blue check by their names?

His making fun of the "keep pounding" mantra pretty much cemented that Panther fans are never gonna welcome him back.

Hardy and DeAngelo are permanent hate list for me personally.

I don't hate the other ones. Just unfortunate events surrounding their departure from the Panthers (bust, departures, etc.)

Permanent hate list for a guy that won the division by himself after DeAngelo fumbled away the #1 seed vs Seattle?  Permanent hate for a guy that BOA wildly cheered for in August 2014 vs the Chiefs in front of a nationally televised preseason audience?  IF the Huddle represents Panther fans at large, then that’s selective memory, or weak, pansy ass hypocrisy.

Don't hate anyone that has been a panther... however. 

Deangelo... I feel some kind of way about that dude.  He an a hole... I'm one myself so I can only throw so many stones on this. 

Greg Hardy -- I still feel that whole situation was sketchy.  Do I think he is completely innocent.. nope.  Do I believe everything the girl said? nope.  I still believe she was a Matt Ryan plant to get Hardy out of Carolina. 

Mike Tolbert -- Nothing but love for the time he spent here "when" he contributed. 

Ted Ginn -- Still much love for Teddy Ginn.. drops and all.  He always gave 100%... at least for us.

Dwayne Jarrett -- He gave all he had.........................it wasn't much. 

Brandon Lafell --  Almost is the word that comes to mind.  Almost good enough. Almost caught it.  Almost dropped it.. Almost... 

Jno24 --  Gettlemens biggest mistake by a long shot.  Miss him immensely.  Especially everytime I see Julio Jones get a free release off the line..... uggghh,,, (breathes deeply)  think happy thoughts , think happy thoughts. 

AJ Klein -- Appreciate the contribution .. wish him luck when not playing us. 

Star Louteleilei --   see AJ Klein. 

Michael Oher --  Gave us a good year and waaayyy to many blindside references. 

89 --  (Denzel Washington voice)..That's mah #$#$##$!!!   Always gave 1000%.  Was flawed human being but who's not?  Greatest Panther rec ever and not even a close second in my opinion.  IMO everyone who talks bad about him is a fairweather fan with a short memory.  Keep your righteous and holier than now drivel to yourself !!!!!........< end rant.> 

J Stew -- Appreciate his time here.  Never will forget the Ronde Barber stiff arm. Wish our line could have been better during his prime years.

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not really the guy that supports a guy beating the hell out of a woman. Some things are bigger than football, man.

DeAngelo Williams -  Loved him when he was here but he is obviously butthurt too much to let it go.   It's a business

Greg Hardy -  Thought he was done wrong and should have stayed but he moved on and so should we.  One of the only Panthers to be a part of this forum.

Mike Tolbert -  Every player hits a wall and needs to retire.  Fortunately for him McDermott had a need for him.   Retire and eat more burgers.   Still like him

Tedd Ginn -  Can't blame him for going for the top dollar he could get.  Both times we didn't offer what he wanted.  Fortunately for us I think we have replaced him well.  Can't cheer for him because he is an Aint but don't wish anything bad on him.

Dwayne Jarrett - On this list probably the most disappointing one of all.   For the position we drafted him he never showed up.  Don't know if it was work ethics or just not as talented as we thought.  One of those 2nd round Hurney Bust.  Dislike him the most. 

Brandon Lafell -  Still playing and has a ring.  Can't hate him for that.   He moved on and got a better deal than here.  Hate losing talent we groomed but if the GM isn't going to fork over the cash.  You would leave too.  No issues

J.No24 -  Hated this move.  So did Norman.   I dislike Gettleman more because he reacted like a 3 yr old.  

A.J. Klein -  Don't blame him one bit.  He would never start behind Luke.  Glad to see him doing well. Once again can't pull for him because he is an Aint but don't hate him.    I expect the same will happen with Mayo.

Star Lotulelei -  Love Star and agree with not resigning him.   Think Poe will do better.   Still a good guy.  No hate here.

Michael Oher -  He made a lifelong decision.  How can you hate him for that.   

89 -  Love him, will always love him and will be super happy for our first draft pick to make the HOF.

J.Stew -  10 yrs is a long time for a RB to be with one team.   He'll be a beast in New York.  No hate here either.

  For me, It was him getting highly overpaid and then just getting fatter. Then, after we spend close to 10M in  cap to make him go away, he decides to lose 20 lbs. and play hard again. For vet minimum. I’ll never forget looking up at the Steelers first pre-season game that year and just hollering “ you sorry mutha........”.
