I live in Redskins country and Mixon and crew are a gazillion times better.  I literally could fall asleep on a Redskins broadcast.  Philly of course has the best

Never been that concerned with the radio guy as long as he could relay what was happening in the game, Mixon does that fine, IMO.  

What was controversial when he was hired?

I mute the tv and listen to the broadcast unless romo is on.

Mixon and the boys are half the fun on gamedays, yall gotta lighten up.

Just saw where Jeff Fisher is gonna do a little work as a color analyst for Fox this season.  Can't wait to hear that.

Everybody has different tastes of course but for me, relaying what’s happening in the game is what he does poorly.

I had to listen to quite a few games last year and many times I was thinking that his calls could not keep up with the speed of the game. 

Sounds like a minor point, but to listeners, that makes the difference between average and awesome. Also he feels more cardboard than excited. 

I wouldn’t mind a new guy but not terribly upset with what we got.

Yep. If you're going to be 4-5 seconds behind on every call, at least make up for it with excitement.
