Anyone else relieved that Tepper has finally taken over?

I agree that the front office, especially Hurney, are on the hot seat because he would never get another job in the league in a million years of Sundays. Doesn't really feel that way with Ron since if we canned him he would probably have another HC job paying him even more in no time.  Its an apples to oranges comparison as far as hot seats are concerned.

I don't think stress màkes people better. More times than not it actually hinders performance. Does stress make you take more chances and assume more risk? I think it does. What I see from Ron is that he tends to be conservative and not take chances. When he does go for it on fourth down it is sometimes a calculated risk. Other times he goes with the hot hand and if he thinks we have momentum,  he will take a chance betting on the offense. But those who think that being on the hot seat is the main thing that motivates him isn't paying attention to the facts or the game just repeating what someone else complained about with no evidence.

I watched when I lived in DC as all of us fans were excited about Snyder taking over.  That didn’t work out too well so I will reserve judgement.  So no, I’m not excited.

You are right about Ron he would be hired right off the bat. Hurney doesn't need the job and wasn't lobbying for it. He owns a radio station and is already set for life. Coming back was about redemption. I doubt he cares how hot it is.

Very happy that statue man is out and Tepper is in. I did not think highly of statue man as an owner before the SI expose. I loathed him afterward. But I like Tepper a lot.

Glad it is over too.  New Chapter and hopefully he instills a bit more concern with winning.

Someone mentioned that he mentioned Rivera and Turner but not Hurney.

I would not be surprised if Hurney is gone after the pre-season (Or sooner).   I think he might bring in a new GM after the season starts to get a idea and grip on the direction of the team.   I wonder if losing Norwell irritated him.
