Sweet, we've got a Pack guy on the team! I wanted Tyler a few years ago in the draft. We never draft State guys though. I think this is a steal for a 5th rounder if that is in fact what was traded.

Again, as most people have pointed out, we would not get a rookie to contribute and probably not be as good as Tank in the 5th round next year. I definitely see this as a win.

Yes it sucks giving up a draft pick, but the only players we seem to get that contibutes at any significant capacity in the fifth round and beyond are generally TEs and we are stacked there.

If we can somehow get our first round pick back, I can deal with the loss of the fifth.

I like the trade and think Tank gives us depth and options but he does not really work in the 3-4. Thats why he lost his starting job in KC. I don't think Lewis would work in it either.

The 3-4 would work very well with the LBs we would have but not so much for the linemen.

panthers LBs are undersized for a 3-4..this team is built for the 4-3..

Davis is not much of a 3-4 lb. It would be interesting to see what Pep could do as a situational player at OLB.
