I think he could be a great PG, just has to work on his ball handle skills. Which, with a good work ethic, would be right up his alley. If not, I fear his ceiling is Lou Williams. And while Lou Williams has had a solid career. We need a lot more from Monk going forward than to be a two time sixth man of the year.

The track record of PG conversions at the NBA level is not particularly stellar. I think he kind of is what he is in regards to position. TBH, I don't think that means he is a lost cause. And, really, if he was a two time 6th man award winner that would be a success, IMO.

We will see this season, I suppose.

He's 6'3 dude, he is meant to be a PG. He's still developing his PG skills, if he can do that, he can be a deadly score first PG. Better than Kemba. If he stays at SG, his Defense will constantly be compromised, and will just be a shooter. We need more than that for the future.

Why do you think he was backing up Kemba at the end of the Season, and the beginning of the Season? Charlotte sees him as a PG for the future. Not a SG.

Uh, no.

That sucks I actually enjoy Chuck's comments on this section of the board. Maybe he can be banned everywhere but here!

Correct, it's terrible. The Hornets board needs more Chuck than the other board. The other board is sometimes hard to get on. Too much BS, and bickering.

The Hornets board gets so little action that it's depressing at times but I can't say I am the best choice. I get on here for a bit then disappear and then come back again.

    • I find it more like now that I have been forced to watch Young so much it isn’t as much of a shock to my senses.   Desensitized they call it.   For real, it just looks normal almost now. Where the first game of 2023 I wasn’t sure what I was looking at it was so out of bounds for NFL type play. I literally couldn’t make sense of what I had seen vs Atlanta that first week.
    • Lynch in SF. Great is subjective but he has done pretty well there.
    • Sure, except Stroud has the ability to stretch the field with deep passes. He did that often last night with ease, but couldn’t connect on many due to being flustered by the defense. BY9 gets flustered and can’t throw screens, let alone even think about any deeper passes. Stroud would’ve changed the franchise and done more with the situation last year. My thought at least.    the hope is that last year showed tepper that he needed to step back from football decisions. There’s a positive in most situations and maybe we’ll see a new tepper in the near future.
