Game of Thrones - Season 8

I'll miss GOT for a few days, and then I'll begin to wade through all of the other shows that are backing up in my queue. The rushed feeling of this season actually made it a little easier to say goodbye. I wouldn't want another season of this writing. It wasn't terrible, it just wasn't nearly as good without the source material, and let's be honest, we're never getting the final two books.

TBF it still did that for me some this season. Theon. Arya/the Hound. Brienne. Granted, those were all situations GRRM pretty much set up, and I think the actors/actresses did an outstanding job of making them pay off.

I never would have thought several years ago I would grow to care about Theon again.  Well written arc and damn well acted

I haven't seen the meme made yet, but if a Stark stops what they are doing in a pretty dramatic moment and says "Thank you" to you, then the clock is ticking. Bran did it to Theon. Arya did it to Sandor.

No doubt.  I still give the show runners a lot of credit, they are really good producers and did a good job adopting the books.

A castle, not "the castle".

I'm starting to think it will be Jon or the throne/position/capitol will be no more.

Just feels like there needs to be a Targaryen on the throne again so we can start the story over...and over, and over.

Lots of "Game of Thrones" fans would like to forget Season 8 ever happened. And now nearly half a million of them have signed a petition calling on HBO to remake the show's final season with a new writing team.
