History repeating itself in Westeros.

Awesome episode

didnt like Jamie’s flip flop

That was my only real issue. Thought for sure he would have killed her. That would have made this episode a 9 as opposed to a 7.5.

I actually liked Cersei dying from her castle falling on top of her. I thought it was a symbolic way to go. #shegone

I was referring to Jaime's arc.

Also the prophecy.

Not sure I loved Cerseis death.  She deserved a better death IMO.  The rest of the episode was awesome.  Dany is definately going down after burning everyone like that.

Didnt love the Jamie redemption went no where, but whatever

So I guess Drogon went super saiyan or some poo like wtf? What was the point of all the armies and battles if Dany and one dragon could so easily just destroy everyone and everything? I could keep going on but my god did the writing really have to be this fuging bad. Nothing this season has made any logical sense. Like with each new episode everything that happened previously just gets thrown out the window. With the way things are going the final season may as well have been like 1 - 30 minute long episode and it wouldn't have made a difference.

You would think Daenerys would want to kill / know Cersi is dead right? So instead of flying her dragon right to her watch tower and incinerating her she just destroys all of kings landing and never bothers to figure out if Cersi escaped or anything.

fug this show I'm out. The Wire and Sopranos are the Goat and there isn't even a debate anymore.

Yeh it’s very GoT to not give you the ending you were craving.

If good writing was easy, you would think everyone would do it.

I have no real problems with where the series is going.  I wish they would have take a little more time with the series overall in order to give certain characters a better or more fitting ending.

I've seen a lot of people who are upset with Danny turning into a Queen of Ash.  This is always who she has been: since she got her dragons, she has been more than happy burn her enemies to death.  Also, she was raised in Essos, which has a much more brutal and fatalistic culture where no one would hold it against her to burn her enemies to death.  She came to Westeros with dragons and an army of strange brown skinned people.

Danny wanted it all:  the Iron Throne, her man, and her dragons.  The death of each dragon was more unbearable to her.  She was already in a depressed and angry state.  She saw how everyone loved Jon while everyone feared the strange lady from the East.  Once Jon found out who he really was, she lost her man and her claim to the throne at the same time.  So it's not surprising that with the death of Missandai, she lost any hope or faith in the people of Westeros.  They became enemies instead of subjects.  Let's not forget how she killed the Tarley family without much thought.

Tyrion's turn as the smartest man in the Seven Kingdoms to the biggest fool is complete.  Now what does he do?  What will Sansa do if Jon does not get the Iron Throne, especially after hearing what Danny did in King's Landing?  I can't wait to see how it all concludes.

I know it's not going to please everyone.  At this point, it's nearly impossible to satisfy people.  Think back to any other long form fiction stories you might have read?  I go back to the Dark Tower series.  While I really enjoyed it, the ending for certain characters left me bitter.  Same thing here.  You can't please everyone as an artist.  So you make what makes you happy and proud of your work.  If people don't like it, they don't have to watch it.

I’m not sure I have that big of an issue with what they are doing.  But it is all rushed, sloppy and told poorly.    I think they could of gotten to where we are today much better.  So I could see where a Martin outlined I might do this and they just ran to it.

- lot of folks have survived buildings falling on them in the history of TV and movies.  Wouldn’t be shocked if at the end they show Cersei survived and her child grows up like Dany did for the next cycle
