Same. Poorly written episode. 1/4 of the episode was barely visible. Helm's Deep is the GOAT. I literally didn't feel anything this entire episode. Just not a satisfying episode. Maybe End Game has left me numb?

Thing I am most surprised about...

the battle with the Night King/Winter is Coming boils down to one episode. 

Now maybe they do another lead up to the next battle? Or heck two.  And Cersei gets a battle episode.  Just seems like the great battle vs the dead should of been more than one episode. 

TV shows are all about the ending.  3 more episodes.  I guess we will see.  I liked the episode overall. Just thought the Night King would continue into some of the final episodes.  More needed to die.  Too much magic dust now be sprinkled on the main folks

even if the last 3 episodes have the greatest writing in television history it won't excuse the nonsense they've written the past couple seasons.

 

there were some cool moments but man this was garbage imo. pure fan service.

I’m going with Arya taking down Cersei.  Might have a different face but going back and watching the first meeting with the witch green eyes came after blue eyes

Yeah what a letdown,  NK taken down in one episode seems pretty lame.  Also dont think Theon is dead yet.  So far this season had been pretty lame.

Nah it's just bad writing. Jaime should have been the one to take down TNK and Arya should have killed Cersei using the face of one of Tyrion/Jaime. This show peaked in Season 6. Still fun to watch but a shame to see the story butchered. I'll have to get around to reading the books.

LOL, why, because that’s what you wanted to happen? Jaime being Azor Ahai was always a stretch. And how do you know that second part still won’t happen?

Maybe you’ll get your wish for a different ending in the form of JRR, I mean GRR Martin’s final book if he ever finishes it.

Well Ghost is in the preview for next week.  So there is still a chance he sits on the iron throne.

The fug are you guys bitching about? Episode was epic. My only gripe was the lighting. Couldn't see the beginning that well. After those first 20-30 minutes, the flames made it easier.

 

Arya swooping in for the kill was awesome. She is Death (as in the God). That is amazing. I'm glad they didn't take the cheap, wear a face and sneak up approach. She just came from out of nowhere, from above or behind the NK's forces. The gust of wind and she's there. fuging fascinating.

 

I'm still very confused about Bran and I'm beginning to think we're not gonna get much out of him. He's just the guy who knows history and what may come. Nothing more. Wish he had a bigger role tonight other than being the trap for Arya to have her opportunity.

I think Arya kills Cersei and I think The Mountain is killed by dire wolves just before that. That's what I want anyway. I think the dire wolves have to be an element just to symbolize the coming of the North.

Of course, Jon or Dany are gonna die. Possibly one killing the other. Who fuging knows. I'm just ready for next week.
