Keep Jake in. For now.

Give him the chance to keep working through his troubles. Right now, we're winning, so don't rock the boat, but if he does falter, bench him for a while a la Reid/McNabb.

If he can't excel against third stringers in preseason, he will really suffer against first stringers.

In fairness he's also playing with 3rd string players, not just against them. Many of the guys running, blocking and catching during those preseason games don't even make the team.

The only meaningful evaluation of Moore is STARTS with STARTERS. In that situation he is 2-1.

The garbage time against Philly isn't even close to being an opportunity to evaulate him. Philly was up big and their defense was playing without fear. Not to mention he had no practice time with the 1st team.

Give him the drivers seat in practice, and the starting role for a few games. It won't take long to know if he's a better option than Jake.

Matt Moore if Jake loses against the Bills. He hasn't played well in any game this year (one could argue for the game against the Falcons, but he still threw the game-losing interception at the end of the game). I don't believe he is getting the job done as QB, and the only question remains now is that if he keeps it up, when do they pull the plug? If he loses against Bills, a team the Panthers are favored to beat, I believe it's time to bench him. Matt Moore should start because he has been on the team and in the offensive system for two seasons, and he would be more prepared than AJ Feeley at this point. I believe Feeley was signed in case of injury. If Jake/Moore get injured, the team doesn't want to be put in a 2007 season type of situation.

But if Jake continues to struggle, I'd say even in the next game, Matt Moore should be starting.

What is the point of these stupid polls? Unless you have been at Panthers practice every day, you have no idea how well Matt Moore or AJ Feeley are doing with this offense and you have no idea who the players are supporting, which is the most important thing. I have a feeling that they are still behind Delhomme whether the fans are or not.

I want Feeley in to see if he can catch on. Nobody thought Jake would in 2003 like he did.

I think it is too early for MM to come in and deal with pressures of being heir apparent.

even if its just for 1 game he needs to be benched if this wasnt the NFL jake would have been pulled a long time ago
