I'm don't care but understand there are people that will be upset - but c'mon - we all know football players cuss on the field, in the locker room, at home, everywhere.. no one should be surprised - but I just think someone in his camp that runs hit twitter shuda spoke up n said "yo - this won't be a good look, fam"..

and tbh - we all would be laughing it up if Brees/Ryan/Winston dropped a similar vid..

Good call. Let’s tell the Make A Wish Foundation to go ahead and shut it down.

The only reason I agree with this statement is because Cam specifically has made it a point to make himself a role model to kids. I morally don’t think it’s a good look (just because you’re the face of the franchise and you know kids watch this stuff), but the adult in me says “he’s a grown man, let the dude say what he wants.” I don’t know where the scrutiny ends. How do you let famous people be normal on social media? It’s damned if you do and damned if you don’t I feel like.

Mainly because it would be legit hilarious coming from Brees or Ryan.

I wasn’t even addressing the cussing. I was addressing the ridiculous statement that was made about being bad parents if kids use athletes as role models. That was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read.

Well, in that case how do you feel about the cussing? Hahaha, to make my response to you relevant instead of completely missing your answer to him.

It's more about propping up complete strangers in the minds of kids just because they're good at a sport. If you think that's a good idea as a parent, well...

Cam Newton nor any other athlete has any obligations to act in a manner that some rando considers to be worthy of being a role model to his/her kid.

No joke... my almost 3 year old daughter asked me today if she can go to a bar...  I said...  mmnnn no?  She said “what the heck?”.  My daughter goes to one of the most expensive daycares in Charlotte which is also a church.  The stuff they learn from other kids is mind blowing...  my 4 year old dropped F bomb few times already when we picked him up from daycare.

Do you think it’s parents propping athletes up or is it kids who play sports looking up to the athletes?
