Cam Newton has a few words for the haters

When was the last time a franchise QB led his own team in rushing for the season en route to the playoffs while competing in a division where 2 out of the other 3 starting QB's have MVP trophies (one league MVP/one SB MVP)?

Considering how open Cam has been especially ever since the team leaders met with Tepper I feel like Tepper has a lot to do with Cam’s new comfortable approach. Whereas JRich was glad he didn’t have tattoos I kinda feel like Tepper told the guys to be themselves. It’s a welcome approach honestly it’s good to see Cam be Cam.

Agreed. But you and I live in the world of prove it day in and out or you can be fired at will. Players often have guaranteed contracts and signing bonuses which make guys like Cam multimillionaires whether they produce or not.

Actually what I kept reading was that Tepper said winning was the most important thing to him and said it over and over. Cam has always felt the same way. Finally this year he has the weapons around him which he has missed since 2011. I bet he is happy.

I'm not worried about him being in shape. Dude is ALWAYS in shape. I want this dude to get his accuracy up, if he can refine his mechanics just a tweak here and there under Norm. We are going to have a Super Bowl with this man.
