Jerry Richardson did not receive the full 2.275 billion or whatever it was. At least I don't think so. The team was sold for that amount and he owns 48% of the team. So he got 48% of the sale price. When Tepper buys out the rest of the owners, it will add up to 2.275 billion or whatever it was.

I think it's an appropriate fine for the old mister. His worst offense was being a creep and embarrassing the Panthers and NFL. He didn't do anything to our knowledge that was illegal.
