Teams starting to limit fan access to training camp

Yeah, just ban cellphones and cameras. Enforce it. Throw people the fug out. People will get the point pretty quickly.

But the flip side of this is that this is a huge money industry and wins translate to money. You have plenty of coaches and front office people on the hot seat every single season. Desperate people do desperate things. Hell, even non-desperate people (*cough*Belichick*cough*). Then there's a lot of super-competitive people who really do operate with a "if you ain't cheating, you ain't trying" attitude (*cough*Belichick*cough*). 

If the practices are open to the public, there's absolutely zero guarantees there aren't spies in the crowd. Honestly, if you aren't operating like there are, you're probably being naive.

Don't you enjoy every one Tweeting the exact same thing about whoever made a catch or dropped a ball or the "scary moment"? It would be more interesting if every "media" person didn't do the same thing and maybe be observant beyond simply tweets and bullet points. Something thought out and organized would be shockingly different.

Yup.  I look forward to his write up more than anything else during TC.  I went last year and TBH it was a waste of time for me personally.  Couldnt see really anything and if you want something signed you have to fight a mob.  Ill just chill and read igos posts

Not sure how it is over there, but here the Saints have security walking back and forth along the stands specifically looking for people recording. If they see someone they think is recording, they'll shut 'em down. If they get caught again they'll toss 'em.

Its all fair until they start allowing teams to restrict access. If all practices are open then go ahead, send your scouts out and let them try to decipher what looks and plays teams are working on. If you restrict access for one team then no one gets to enjoy training camp at all.
