Panthers OL worst in NFCS

Last and most definitely least, Carolina has a ton of question marks along its offensive line. Long-time center Ryan Kalil has missed more than half of the last two seasons with neck injuries and his brother Matt was an unmitigated and expensive disaster at left tackle last year. Andrew Norwell left in free agency, leaving a gaping hole at left guard which might have to be filled by Amini Silatolu for the time being. Right tackle Daryl Williams had an All Pro season out of nowhere but he’s in the last year of his deal and reportedly far apart from the team on extension numbers. Their best lineman now is right guard Trai Turner, who is still not 100 percent recovered from a knee injury. The Panthers had better hope second-year stud Taylor Moton is ready to thrive in 2018, otherwise this unit’s struggles may become an unconquerable obstacle for new offensive coordinator Norv Turner.

Not sure I can complain about this one.   Our big investment here is the Kalil brothers and last year, I'm not sure the roi was there.   We made little change here for the coming year, apparently Norv feels it's adequate.

Offensive lines have a tendency to fluctuate with injuries and group cohesion. Right now we could be much worse than last year, or much better. There's no real way to tell until we line up against an opposing team in a real game.

Any speculation at this point is just that... speculation.

Just remember that we went 11-5 last year with that suspect line.

I can't wait until we get to the ranking of the coaches in the division.  Gonna be some awfully upset folks around here.

We have the only two time coach of the year in the division.  In the history of the award only Belichick, Knox, and Shula have more.

I don't necessarily disagree but what does Williams' contract situation have to do with this years offensive line?  Enough things to point out without talking about something that's irrelevant to this season.
