That whole "inconsistency" thing is just analytics but we truly don't know what the season will bode for us. Each year is a crap shoot. Talent wise, this is the best offense we've had in quite some time. Defensively, we've gotten upgrades in the secondary that was our weakness last year. As long as we don't go back to doing things that obviously didn't work previously (running zone D almost every play, Buffalo Nickel packages, blitzing like mad while leaving our secondary to fend for themselves) I think we'll be back. Cam has gotten a lot better at closing games and there's the plus that he'll have a full offseason. I think it's okay to have the homer goggles at this juncture because all we have is speculation. We'll know more once preseason gets started. I, for one, think we'll be back based on the moves made this offseason.

You can’t argue with that. This team is easily the 3rd best in the NFCS at best.
