I don’t know why people get bent out of shape over these articles. 1) they have to pick some team to say that about 2) what they write has no baring on how the team actually plays. 3) it’s David newton who is clearly a hack nascar writer.

This is a prediction that I believe is based on lack of interest in the Panthers by the media or just plain laziness.  Easy to say the pattern continues.  Takes a little more work (but not much) to look more closely at the team.  Barring some major injuries...this is a playoff team at least.

Hope ESPN article is clipped and placed inside of every locker.

It really should not be surprising because there are compelling reasons why we won't make the playoffs, and it's mainly based in holes and history. Newness of systems and personnel up in the box, on the sidelines and on the field logically make for a period of transition for multiple facets of the team to certain degrees as well. 

But my thing is, I think the team is stronger than a lot of people give it credit for asked upon experienced and seasoned coaches and veterans in all three phases of the team. Moreover I think that some of the perceived differences are based on superficiality and that that aspect of our team will truly be a case of, "The more things change, the more they stay the same."  

Now, of course, my thoughts could be based on seeing things through homer glasses, but we will see.

Major improvements. It's clear they're all in, no half steps were made this season.

KK and Poe on the interior?!? Pep STILL a beast on the outside with Addison and a good young stable behind them?!? Best linebacker core in the league arguably?!?

Cam has the Chudfather air coryell Obi Wan Norv Turner calling the plays, that is a match made in heaven, perfect OC for Cam. They just supplied Cam with the most "weapons" EVER.

We've added so much speed and explosiveness it's unlike any Panthers team ever, an All Star Panther roster, 14 Probowlers! As somebody here on the ground watching this team I'm expecting more from this squad than any other previously.
