Rewatching that scene, it looks like Lundy saw the shooter and recognized him...right before Deb got shot. Hard to tell though.

I got that feeling as well, but it's hard to say if it was just the shock of seeing someone point a gun at him out of the blue. :confused:

Well, they definitely were awesome. I don't think the Doakes issue could drag on for 5 seasons, so I can't complain about killing him off. It would have been silly threatening Dex for 5 years. I just hate the way it went down.

I like that he lives in the books, even though he's not relevant atm. He lost his limbs and tongue, so he literally bangs a hook on a computer to cuss out Dex.

Lundy was the man, but he'd have to become a friend to Dex to stick around. Dex just went through the Miguel season and that would contradict it. Oh well, maybe he got Deb preggers. :eek:

Yeah I'd read that Tony Tucci took Doakes place in season 1. I do miss that back and forth between Dex and Doakes, but season 3 is probably the longest they could have pushed it. I just get the feeling Dex and Lundy weren't finished tangling, I'd hope to see a bit more of that come to light this season.

Oh well.

Yeah I figured he had a family and I knew he was a preacher/something like that. It showed it in previews a couple weeks ago surprisingly.

Hopefully Dexter doesn't get too caught up in the "he's just like me" thing. Dexter has a code and doesn't do random killings on innocent people.

Edited to say YES I think Rita is a bitch!!!!!! I really liked her character (and think she is hot) but she is just like any other woman. Once you marry her she changes and becomes EVIL!!!!

Definitely wanted Deb to die. I don't think he'll get too caught up in it. I mean, he initially thought that way about his brother too but that didn't stop him from offing him.
