Here is the bottom line---you get open, you get throws.  You catch throws, you may get some when you are not so open.  Benjamin's maturity was an issue when we drafted him--I am not sure he understands how the world works yet.

True story... Guy got bullied at the line of scrimmage by guys half his size repeatedly also, which is saying a lot considering how fat he was coming during the offseason last year. I liked Funchess as a player more because he has a YAC mentality. Yeah, your tall and jump up for contested catches but as a WR, what's up AFTER the catch. You got my QB tied up with the idea of forcing you the ball for what?! We may be spoiled from having Smitty but guys like him and Moose we're all about YAC. That is your game if your not the biggest or fastest.

I preferred Funchess in THAT mold anyways.

No he's not lol. Mike Evans does a much better version of it. There are a bunch of receivers I'd throw it up to before Benjamin.

Knee injury so far fuged his career up. I remember the reports about 2015 TC where he just looking dominant. We struggled first pre-season game in the 1st quarter and finally we marched down the field and KB leaped high as hell in the air a TD grab. I haven't really seen that KB since. I believe he went and tore his ACL before the next pre-season game.  Being that size and not being some type of freak of nature and tearing your ACL is not a good thing.

Spectacular catch but if you fought for and won more yards after that catch you maximize your QBs performance even if your name is Jake Delhomme.
