That's a two way street, the new gm didn't want him here either. They were phasing him out as the primary target so part of him was probably thankful for the move to a team with NO wr's. 

KB will always be what could've been if he never got hurt.

At the end of the day the Panthers became better on offense without KB, and this years WR groups appears to be way better than last years.

He shouldn't have been a #1 but he was a tough loss because no other WR in the league right now has his ability to win pretty much every deep ball and jump pass like he can.

Funchess looks like a better WR though.
