The season is over and the offseason has began.

Right now we are strapped and cant make any real moves with this Batum contract.

The big story is where will Lebron go.

Right now here is how I see it in order of possibilities

1. Houston- they took Golden state to game 7 and some argue that had CP3 (a close friend of Lebron) had not got hurt.  They wouldve taken Golden State.  Lebron sees that alpmg with playing with a friend in CP3 and jumps

2. Cleveland- he said family ia the biggest thing in making this next decision.  With his roots from there. His wifes roots from there.  His kids in school there.  Cleveland has some work and they know it though.  I see them being Reaaly busy this offseason trying to move some pieces and bring in another star (string rumors like trying to add Kemba)

3. New York- Lebron wanting to stay in the east. Lebron is a fan of David Fizdale the new HC as you saw him speaking out after the Memphis firing. New York is one of the teams with the best opportunities new open some cap this offseason in addition to a top 10 pick. Say the move up and grab Trae Young, sign Paul George, along with Already having the Unicorn.  Lebron would jump right on it.  Plus a NY Boston rivalry brewing for the eastern conference finals would look good for the NBA

4. Spurs- coach Pop, Kwahi, and some other pieces. Kwahi and Aldridge are like a poor mans Wade and Bosh.  Gasol and Green (green played with Lebron early on in their career in Cleveland) coming off the Bench.  And if you can fit Tony Parker in at Vet minimum.  That combo for a HOF coach is inatant Threat to Golden State.

Noteable teams that they say have a strong shot but I dont seeing

1. Lakers- no pieces.  Lonzo Ball is a bad a player to put with Lebron out there.  Lebron is a loint Forward who needs the ball in his hands. Ball is a pass first PG who has to have the ball in his hands.  Ball's only offense he has is opened from him QBing amd dishing out passes.  Take the ball out of his hands and make him a off the ball scorer and defender, he will become a major liability.  Ingram, one of the only other key stud pieces.  Plays the same position as Lebron.  They dont have a top draft pick as well.  Only hope IMO is if he gets another "decision" big 3 of superstars, outsiders to all sign to go there together

2. Philly- Ben Simmons their budding superstar os a Lebron clone, a big athletic point forward.  You cant and wont have both out there together and would be bad/pointless for Lebrin to go there.

3. Boston- Kyrie rumored to want to leave because he didnt want to play under the shadow of Lebron anymore.  He wanted to be The guy.  Jason Tatum the stud rookie also plays the same position as Lebron.  Just a bad fit

Whats yalls thoughts and where do you think he goes?

I think Lebron is going to the Lakers.  Just a hunch.  Honestly...Lebron will never catch Jordan as the best ever.  If he goes to Houston and wins 2-3 ships I still don't think he will be considered the best.

Lebron will end up in LA IMO.

Yeah I think LA or Houston as well. As intriguing as Philly is, Bron and PG would be nasty. Although, if Cleveland makes some moves, I could see Bron staying home.

ESPN was reporting on this today and they specifically said if Cleveland thinks they can keep Lebron and Kemba Walker comes available they probably move number 8 to try to get him.

If they pick at 8 I think Lebron is LA bound.

If we can pick at 8 and 11 we have to trade kemba.  If porter falls grab him at 8 and whichever pg at 11

I would have to think the Hornets would have to accept 8 and Clarkson for Kemba and in terms of basketball talent that is losing big time on the Hornets end.

Clarkson is a 6’5 combo guard who can really score when he is on but is wildly inconsistent and seems extremely immature for 25.  Oh well, gotta get something for Kemba.

I still think we could get Cleveland to throw in another future pick or either Cedi Osman or Larry Nance Jr. and add Julyan Stone to match salaries. Would you be interested in any one of those guys?

I would prefer to cut salary than bring in Clarkson and if they can make it work with Nance Jr and other cheap short contracts I am all for it.  Clarkson is making Kemba money for 3 more years which is ridiculous.

Looking at that Cavs roster they are starting from scratch if he leaves.  That roster is really bad and they owe those guys crazy bad contracts.  Yuck.

Cleveland fell in the same trap Charlotte did concerning the year the cap increase. They thought the cap would continue to increase and gave crazy contracts to JR, Thompson and George Hill.

The only "good" contracts from Cleveland are:

Lance Jr. 1.4m at 1 year, Osman 2.6m at 2 years, Korver 7m at 2 years and Clarkson at 11.5m at 2 years

Leonard was being discussed today on ESPN and I was not aware he can possibly get a 5 yr 217mill supermax deal.  Over 43m per?  He is good, I get it, but I don’t think Jordan would even consider a deal near that for anyone.  That is fuggin crazy money.  Just saying I don’t see that ever happening.

And no wonder he sat out most of last yr.
