Harry Kane 2 goals came from penalties and 1 from deflection he had no control over.  The least deserving hat trick in World Cup haha.

Ha, when you’re on form then that fortune will come your way. He should’ve had a few penalties in the first game. He’s smashing this World Cup so far.

England really do look good.

Yea,  I’m pulling big time for England.  They have the best squad in decades.

I hope Mexico gets eliminated.  Winning their first two games and not advancing would make me laugh... also we finished 5th in shitty concacaf.  Panama was by far the worst team in the tourney and Costa Rica won't win a game. Honduras lost a play in series to Australia who managed last place in their group.

One of the supposed upsides to the forty-eight team World Cup is that AFC, CAF, and CONCACAF would get more teams.  With half the groups completed I fail to see the appeal.  So far we have:

Group A: CONMEBOL and UEFA (AFC and CAF eliminated)
Group B: UEFA and UEFA qualify (AFC and CAF eliminated)
Group C: UEFA and UEFA qualify (CONMEBOL and AFC eliminated)
Group D: UEFA and CONMEBOL qualify (CAF and UEFA eliminated)

Of the four remaining groups we have:

Group E: CONMEBOL/UEFA/UEFA still alive (CONCACAF eliminated)
Group F: CONCACAF/UEFA/UEFA/AFC all still alive (likely CONCACAF and UEFA advancing)
Group G: UEFA and UEFA qualify (CAF and CONCACAF eliminated)
Group H: CAF/AFC/CONMEBOL still alive (UEFA eliminated)

Should Mexico lose tomorrow there is a very really possibility that UEFA and CONMEBOL have fifteen of the sixteen teams with Group H being the outlier thanks to Poland gaming the system to get seeded and not having a second UEFA team out there.  These confederations are already filler, why would we want more?
