Good, maybe the NFL will get rid of Goodell and the game can get back to being played how it should be. Violently, you know what you're signing up for when you want to play in the NFL no need to pussify the game more and more each year. Ray Lewis used to break guys down and kill them, break their fugging will power on the field and show them who the man was. Football needs to get back to that in order to increase interest. Football is a mean and nasty sport, dont like it for your kids? Let them play soccer.

i'm sure all the real man smashmouth rah rah football is going to stick around forever considering mcmahon won't allow the players to unionize and they'll be paying their own medical bills.

I've been saying this forever with the NFL since they started changing poo, and when there was a rumor of a XFL coming back I really hoped they would let the old game back onto the field, fingers crossed

They could succeed as a kind of professional minor league to the NFL.  I'm sure somebody somewhere who was desperate for programming might shell out a few bucks.  They'd never compete with the NFL for talent though as nobody would play for 1/10th (or probably less) of what they can make in the NFL just to make a political statement, or whatever.

If XFL actually kicks off and does great, it will not last long. The NFL will just buy them out... you know since they are a non-profit 501c organization.
